Bliss Boutique

Many have you have probably shopped at the adorable Bliss Boutique in Pleasant Grove. Due to some family health issues the owner, Ashlie, has decided to change her routine and have bi-monthly boutiques.

Her first show will be April 29 to May 1st 10 AM to 7 PM.

I am excited to see what Ashlie has put together. I always made a stop at her store when I was in the area because she had such cute and unique items for myself and my daughter.

Ashlie is also an amazing photographer so when you drop by check out her work and make an appointment to have some pictures done.

With Mother's Day just around the corner boutique season is in full swing. There are a lot of great shows that are sure to be the best place to get all your Mother's Day gifts and pick up a few things for yourself!

Oh Sweet Sadie Boutique!

Oh Sweet Sadie is back!

Dani and Heidi will host another show at SoDa Row in Daybreak.

These ladies never fail to put together an amazing show.

The ladies put out applications for new vendors for this show so I am so excited to see what they have found.

Along with the boutique the ladies have what they call The Academy. The Academy allows you to choose from twelve classes where you can learn to make some amazing items you could buy at the boutique! You can attend 1 day of classes for $70 or both days for $125 which covers supplies, meals and a candy buffet! For more information or to register please head over to the Oh Sweet Sadie Blog.

The show is April 29th 6PM to 10PM, April 30th 9:30AM to 9PM, and May 1st 9:30AM to 6PM.

Please note that April 29th is the opening night party and there is a $5 cover charge. (I am not a fan of being charged for these preshows! Again I have a stead fast rule against paying to shop.)

I am sure this is a show that will not disappoint.

The Queen Bee Boutique

is having a Mother's Day Boutique.

I always find such cute things at this boutique. It is a home boutique so space is limited but in the past every inch has been packed with amazing items.

Due to the limited space I would suggest not taking a stroller unless it is a really small umbrella stroller.

The show is May 5th 6 PM to 10 PM, May 6th 10 AM to 7 PM, and May 7th 10 AM to 4 PM.

Art Market Boutique

This show is a very artistic show that is the only way I can think to describe it.

The hosts of this show really know how to create a good mix of you expect from a boutique and the really artsy items that are unique just to them.

This is a show that I have been to many times in the past and always love to see the new artists. The Art Market seems to attract artists that do not go to any other shows. SO if you are looking for something really unique this show is for you!

The show is April 30th 1 PM to 7 PM and May 1st from 10 AM to 5 PM.

They show is at the Sugarhouse Garden center so there is plenty of space for strollers.

Beehive Bazaar

My all time favorite boutique is coming and it is going to be bigger and better than ever!

In December I attended my very first Beehive Bazaar and wondered how I had missed this show all these years.

My only complaint was that the venue was tiny and it was impossible to get around the opening night. I mean literally packed in like sardines!

Well I guess they heard me (yes I am choosing to take full credit) and have moved their event to the barn at Thanksgiving Point! I literally jumped up and down when I saw this because not only is Thanksgiving Point so much closer to me but it is huge! My mind cannot grasp the amount of AMAZING vendors that will be there!

The show will be May 5th from 8 PM to Midnight, May 6th and 7th from 10 AM to 10 PM, and May 8th from 10 AM to 8 PM.

I guess longer shows with longer hours are becoming the new trend!

They are calling Wednesday VIP night and there will be an $8 cover charge. I have to say that is a total turn off to me. I have a stead fast rule against paying to be allowed to shop. I am assuming their reasoning is to control their numbers but I think $8 is a little steep! We will see if the excitement gets the better of me and I (gasp) pay the $8.

I will be there with bells on!

Piper & Chloe Spring Boutique

Piper & Chloe will be hosting their Spring Boutique on April 30 and May 1. They will be in the Rainey Model homes in Farmington, Utah.

The did not give a specific address but here are directions:

From the South on 1-15: Take Exit 319 (Parish Lane), travel east to Main Street. Turn left (north) on Main Street and travel 2.4 miles and turn left at 1600 South in Farmington.

From the North on I-15: Take Exit 395 (Park Lane), travel east to Main Street. Turn right (south) on Main Street and travel 1 mile. Turn left on State Street and travel 2 miles and turn right at 1600 South in Farmington.

Charla and Lauri Present a Spring Boutique!

After 29 years of putting together a holiday boutique the dynamic duo Charla and Lauri are hosting a Spring Boutique!

These wonderful ladies have got to be some the pioneers of home boutiques! With all the years of experience they know how to put together a successful show and to pull in great vendors that appeal to a wide audience. I cannot wait to see what they have in store this time!

The show is April, 29, 30 and May 1 from 10 AM to 1 PM at Lauri's home in the heart of holiday.

The First show in our line up is Tom and Lucy's Art Shoppe

This time around the Tom and Lucy folks are in Lehi at Ivory Ridge Swim and Tennis club.

They have been highlighting the vendor that will be there on their blog and I have to say I am impressed with the vendors they selected!

They are also smart doing their show this weekend as to avoid all the competition of next weekend.

The show is Today from 1 to 9 PM, Friday from 9:30 AM to 8 PM, and Saturday from 9:30 AM to 6 PM. (Critic note: These hours are awesome! I have never seen a show with such long hours.)

There will also be a party on Friday beginning at 4PM with Prizes and Giveaways.

Jeni Gouchner's Spring Boutique

Jeni Gouchner is back with her amazing gourds and other artisans for a Spring Art Boutique. The show is next week March 25th to 27th at the City of Holiday building.

I will be there adding an Easter gourd to my collection. I am also hoping that the Dough Girls are back again this time. My hubby is addicted to their Ricki cookies!

Sweet Tweets Mother's day Boutique

Sweet Tweets is going to start off Spring Boutique season with their show on April 16th and 17th in Riverton.

Oh Sweet Sadie Boutique looking for new artisans

The Chic-Adee Shop: A Valentines Treat!

In honor of Valentine's Day today I wanted show the Love and highlight one of my favorite shops! The Chic-ADee shop was founded by the uber talented Melissa Clark. This amazing artist, dancer, wife, and mother has focused her creative talents into making the most beautiful wreaths!

Here are some of my favorites.

Painting the Roses Red
Not only do I love the name with a throw back to Alice in Wonderland but the roses are to die for. I bought this wreath and love it. It is perfect for Valentine's Day or I am holding on to it for Spring.


Love Me Love Me Not
I bought this wreath as well because hello check out those roses! Also the paper wrapped around the wreath is love letters...be still my heart...I love details like that. I have this wreath on my door now and have had neighbors come to my house just to find out where I got it!

Luck of the Irish
I need this wreath. When my hubby and I first got married I told him I wanted to be festive for every holiday even if that meant just an awesome wreath on our door. I have never found a wreath for St. Patrick's Day until now! I love that this wreath brings in the festive without the cheese!
Touch of Zebra

This wreath is on the top of my want list. I would keep this wreath on my door on all the holiday down times during the year. I think it just reflects my personality so well! Melissa are you sure you did not make this specifically for me?

Southern Belle
Oh how I love this wreath. The lacy flowers are to die for. The look reminds me of one of my favorite dresses in the whole world. This just screams summer days and weddings to me! Oh please come live at my house!

I know Christmas is almost a year away but Melissa's Christmas wreaths are divine and it might take me that long to decide on one! Here is the front runner as of right now.

Old Fashion Christmas

This wreath just makes me smile! The pom poms are so beautiful. To me this just looks like the Christmases I remember growing up. I love the use of traditional colors but done in such a classy way!

Be prepared this boutique is in a home and is very cramped. Mommies do not even attempt to take in a stroller! If you have the option leave the children at home with dad.

Utah Art Market

This Friday head to the Sugarhouse Garden Center for the Utah Art Market. This show features great original local artists. This show focuses mainly on artistic items. They always have great original vendors.

Beehive Bazaar

All you artisans out there today applications open to be a vendor at the Spring 2010 Beehive Bazaar. I have to say that this was probably my favorite show of last year! So go and sign up because this show will get your products noticed!
